Many thanks to you and your crew for the wonderful experience on the 261 adventure to Chicago this weekend. You and all of your team provided excellent hospitality and service which resulted in the best vacation ever!

My husband and I had a wonderful time on the trip to Chicago on June 30 – July 2. It was relaxing and the scenery was beautiful. The drinks and food was great. I think the crew was personal and fun to talk to. You could tell they loved their train, as do I. We plan to do it again some time.

As part of the Milwaukee Road Historical Association’s convention in St. Paul this past weekend (June 20 – 23), we rode on the 261 train from Minneapolis Junction through Hopkins, Norwood/Young America, and Glencoe, to Brownton. I rode in the Cedar Rapids car (it’s a genuine Skytop!). The service Rick and Mary provided was fabulous. Airline First Class is nowhere near this railroad’s First Class. The environment, seating comfort, visibility, social interaction, and the attention given to us by our two attendants was remarkably good. On the return trip in the afternoon, it was a real treat to munch on hot and cold appetizers and drink Chardonnay wine!
