4 star passengers will be seated in traditional vintage Dining coaches familiar to anyone who has travelled on charter trains in Germany and they are similar to those used in the UK.

What's Included

  • 8 night’s hotel accommodation.

  • Train Journeys: Cologne or Frankfurt to Nuremberg, Nuremberg to Dresden, Dresden to Wernigerode and Wernigerode to Wiesbaden.

  • Coach transfers between the train and hotel or if in walking distance staff escort.

  • Luggage courier service throughout, transporting all luggage directly to and from your hotel rooms

  • A team of engaging and helpful staff both on board the train and at all hotels to ensure you have a wonderful and memorable holiday with us.

  • Full day excursion on the Harz Mountains Railway to the Brocken on Sunday 18th May.

  • A choice of optional excursions by foot, road coach or steam (supplement applies). Final optional excursions will be confirmed in late 2024.

Food and Drink

  • Breakfast will be provided in your hotel every morning.

  • 4 star passengers will be welcomed on board with a glass of Bucks Fizz and will receive a light lunch on board the train on days 1, 3, 5 & 8. 4 star passengers will also receive dinner either on board the train or in their hotels on days 1, 3, 5 & 8.

  • On days 2 in Nuremberg and 4 in Dresden and 6 and 7 in Wernigerode, passengers will be free to make their own arrangements to dine either in their hotel subject to availability, or one of the many bars and restaurants there.
