Friends of the 261 are not responsible for any injuries during the operation of the North Pole Express. Train departure times are prompt, please arrive at least 30-60 minutes ahead of trip departure time to get checked in & seated.

Due to Amtrak operations, schedule is subject to change without notice, Friends of the 261 & the North Pole Express are not responsible for schedule delays. Steam locomotive 261 is scheduled to pull all trains but reserves the right to substitute other power without notice. Due to the historic nature of the railroad equipment, the train is not wheel chair accessible. If you have special physical needs, please email us with advance notice. Ticket processing fees are non-refundable. All passengers of all ages MUST have a ticket, all infant ticket require the purchase of an adult (13 yr +) ticket. Friends of the 261 has the right to cancel the above trip without any detail or advance notice. If the trips are canceled tickets purchased for said trip will be refunded in their entirety, minus any online fees occurred. Friends of the 261 is not responsible for equipment substitution & assumes no liability for inconvenience caused by delays. Trains will run rain or shine.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Tickets are non-refundable – this includes travel disruption, illness, accidental purchases & family emergencies. It is at the discretion of the passenger to purchase travel insurance from a private broker. Notified at least 30 days prior to departure date, 50% refund of full payment will be returned. Notified 0-30 days prior to departure date, no refund will be returned. Online purchasing fees are non-refundable. Once payment has been received, passenger has agreed to all the above and can not hold Friends of the 261 for accidental bookings. Exchanges may only be made by the Friends of the 261, and must be submitted in writing via email to [email protected], any other transfers or exchanging of tickets will void tickets. Exchanges include but not limited to: illness, accidental purchases, incorrect date selection at time of booking, etc. Exchanges must be made 15 days prior to first event date, request for exchanges 0-14 days prior will not be excepted. There is a $15.00 per original sale service fee due at the time of exchanging of tickets to another date and/or time.
